Physical Development

In P.E this week we have been practising our throwing and catching skills with beanbags.

Creative / Cwricwlwm Cymreig

We have been colouring in Welsh ladies for our St David's Day competition. We tried to do our best colouring. The winners will be announced in the St David's Day Eisteddfod.

PSE / RE

This week we listened to the story of "Jairus' daughter". We coloured four pictures from the story, cut them out then sequenced them in the correct order.

Computer suite

Every week each group visits the computer suite.

Letters and Sounds 8th - 12th February '10

We looked at a set of instruments and listened to the sounds they made. An identical set of instruments was hidden behind the blue screen. We listened carefully to the sound being made from behind the screen and match it to one of the instruments in front of us.

PSE (Multiculturalism) - Chinese new year!

We have enjoyed learning all about Chinese new year.

We danced to chinese music with ribbons



We turned the cafe into a chinese restaurant for the week and made some chinese food. We rolled paper to make pancake rolls and used wool for noodles.

We coloured chinese new year pictures

We tasted some real chinese food. It was delicious!

We even tried to master using chopsticks!
