Engaging in our topic "Teeny Tiny Things"

We have been planting teeny tiny seeds.  We know how to take care of our seeds in order for them to grow.

We have been on minibeast hunts around the school.  We were very good at finding lots of different minibeasts and naming them.

Some minibeasts are so small we had to look carefully through magnifying glasses to find them.

Next time we went on a minibeast hunt we took clipboards, paper and pencils to tick off the minibeasts we found.  We found lots of the minibeasts that were on our sheets, especially by the pond area.

We have been designing models in the construction area before building them.

We were good at making our models exactly like our design.

Listening to the story of "the very lazy ladybird" at the Listening station.

We have been developing our fine motor skills through the use of tweezers for sorting

We have new pets in Nursery - teeny tiny caterpillars!  We are watching them get bigger everyday and look forward to seeing them change into beautiful butterflies.

Writing captions for our paper plate butterfly lifecycles

Having fun in the outdoor environment - washing and hanging out clothes to dry

Washing cars at the car wash

We have been practising adding up and writing our sums

We celebrated Mrs Roberts' special birthday by having a special morning snack - fruit kebabs.  We chose from 5 different fruits.  They were yummy!
