Comic Relief 2011

We had fun raising money for Comic Relief. We wore red to school and took funny photographs for our mums and dads to buy. Many thanks to everyone who donated on the day. Your donations were gratefully received.

Mathematical development - measuring using non-standard units

We measured two Rapunzel towers using cubes. We identified the tallest / shortest tower.

Personal & Social Development

We played games in circle time with our feelings ball.

We identified the feelings on the ball then rolled to a partner

We said how we were most likely to feel in a variety of situations e.g. going to a friend's house, your birthday, having no one to play with at playtime, getting a present, etc

We were able to copy some of the expressions on the feelings ball.

Sequencing instructions

After making pancakes we sequenced four pictures in order of how we made them.

Piggy banks

We have been working very hard on making our piggy banks. We used mod-roc and egg boxes then decorated them with paint and glitter. We are very proud of them!

Pancakes!

We made pancakes on Shrove Tuesday with the help of Mrs Welcher. Most of us chose chocolate spread as our topping! They were yummy!
